尤其是實證醫學,
原本是期望自己在繁忙的日子裡,
還能維持一個月分享一篇實證醫學,
後來覺得實在太難太難了,
所以就一拖再拖。。。。。。

這次想和大家探討的主題是:
慢性阻塞性肺部疾病是否能透過瑜珈介入,改善生活品質?

- 而為什麼我們對這個主題有興趣呢?
- 我們都知道慢性阻塞性肺病(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, COPD)是一種慢性發炎所造成的呼吸道阻塞疾病。世界衛生組織曾指出,全球約有十分之一的40歲以上成人患有COPD,全球每年約有300萬人死於COPD,估計到2030年,將成為全球第三大死因的疾病(World Health Organization, 2015)。佔我國目前是台灣十大主要死因第七名(衛生福利部統計處,2019)。
- COPD雖然無法治癒,但是戒菸、藥物、手術、腹部復健等治療,有助於減緩疾病的進展和減輕症狀,肺部復健(PR)能改善慢性阻塞性肺病的無效式呼吸,減少二氧化碳蓄積在肺臟中,其中瑜珈因結合冥想能使患者減少外界干擾、平緩情緒、提升專注力,進而提高患者治療動機及改善生活品質,且對尖峰呼氣流速、活動參與及情緒管理等也有顯著改善(曹、陳、陳、吳、黃、陳,2016),進而改善生活品質。
- 目前COPD患者常用的運動測試分別為:六分鐘行走測試(6-minute walking test, 6MWT)或增速性折返行走測試(incremental shuttle walking test, ISWT),兩者都是場域行走測試(field walking tests),是以行走距離的長短,來評估個案的運動能力及預後指標(Holland et al., 2015),但6MWT為低限運動測試,而ISWT為極限運動測試。
